Hello Sherm,

I've checked my data on my branch of Rex's but didn't find the name. Feel sure he is related thought since I believe the Marble Rock connection is too strong. Usually I list everyone in town with the same name and research all possiblities, but got sidetracked with my Brunner family.

A new found cousin of mine - Dick Brotherton, had quite a bit of Rex family, he shared with me some of it. His branch and mine descend from Rudolph REX and Mary Ann ASPER. They had several children and I don't have all of their descendants listed. Do you have parents names at all?

Dick and I are related through siblings of Rudolph and Mary Ann. There are a bunch of Rex's in the Seattle area. Seems during the war many went to work at the ship yards along the coast. His email is richardb@cableone.net. He has quite a data base of Rex's from OH, IA, WA. Hope this helps. My email address is cwood1411@yahoo.com, I will be getting back to the REX line soon. I did check the cemetery listings for your Emory REX but don't see him in the only two cemeteries in Marble Rock.
