Hi Rick, I had the same thoughts about our discussion.

The 1820 census gives one male over the age of 45, 3 females over 45, and some younger children. That is why I believed him to be the f/o Hannah.

BTW, the census gives the spelling as RIBELL, Jaems (sic) H. The church records only said James. Could be different people. There are a lot of James Ribbles in various census records. I know I need a lot more to go on.

The only "documentation" I have for Sarah, is some family records that an aunt had. She said that the Ribbles were "Pennsylvania Dutch."

I have three records that give Hannahs birth place in three different places. But the 1850 and 1860 IL census says NJ. So I have been conentrating there.

I have a lot of misc. Ribble material that people have sent me, but I cannot connect my Hannah or her sister Sarah.

The hunt continues.

Paula
