On the farm that I was born was a cemetery with about 30 burials. It is n ow overgrown with brush and only a few markers left. One of the burials w as Mary Riewert (nee Niendorf) 1841-1878. Wife of A. Riewert.

I also have new plat maps. It would take some research as to where the ho uses were. A four lane highway is going through their property at the pre sent. It is going on the south side of the east/west road in Springfiel d. The cemetery is the small triangle in the NW corner of Sec. 6.

Geb. means 'born' Rieck, or 'nee' Rieck. There were other Riecks also. T he Golz's may be a sister of Carl Schulz, Sr. Emilie Rieck Schulz's broth er Herman (I assume he was) lived in Marxville and b.15 August 18 25 d. 27 Mar 1826 (St. John's Berry death record p. 224. Ludvig Rieck, bo rn October 21, 1792 in Furstenwerden, (with 2 dots over the u) (Hermans de ath rec. by Brandenburg) Kingdom of Prussia - died September. 11, 1876. Th ey are buried in the Sunning Hill Cemetery, Twp. Berry There is also a Ca rl Schultz buried here, but he is a different one, he died in 1876. I kn ow all about him.Hallo Herr Woddow,
