James Sanderses of Caswell County, North Carolina, have been discussed a number of times in this forum, but I haven't seen this record mentioned here. From Ancestry.com: Caswell County, NC Will Books, 1777-1843; 1784 Tax List; and Guardians' Accounts, 1794-1819 Book B, page 216, January Court 1788 Deed of gift: Gideon Patterson to nephew James Sanders, “all my goods and chattels”, inc. negroes and household goods. 19 Jan 1788 Does anyone know which James Sanders that would be and what the Patterson relationship was?
