I am searching the Chicago Il area for Schachtner, 1894 - 1940, that is the original spelling of my line. My grandfather changed the spelling of our name to Schackner in the 1930's. Some of the first names are Josephine, Frank, Michael, Anthony, John. Volborg, Ranuell.
