I would really appreciate the scans! That's really kind! The Veazie line is, mostly from Corinna VR (thanks to Pamela Buck several years ago, also in _A Brief History of Corinna.._): ch of Stephen Veazie and Martha: 11- 5-1806 Isaac Veazie [m1 Lydia Knowles, m2 Sabury E Cole] 11-13-1808 John Veazie [m Louisa T Folsom] 5-19-1812 Laban Veazie [m Lucy] 6-14-1815 Stephen Veazie, Jr [m Sarah C Folsom] 12-3-1816 Martha H(Hurston?) Veazie [m Dominicus Sewell] 10-17-1820 Mary Jane Veazie [m James Sewell] (from other sources, VR of Caton, NY, and Census records) 1823 Alden Veazie 1830 Sewall Veazie (some confusion here; I'm still working on Sewall) So the sisters Folsom married the brothers Veazie and the brothers Sewell married the sisters Veazie. Legend (i.e., Farrow, _A History of Islesboro_) has it that Stephen Sr is of Islesboro and married Martha Harding but I've found no evidence for that. Thanks again for helping put it all together! Wow. |
