Better guess/same reference book: Mary Emma Shelnutt born about 1846 married John W. Woodruff o4, April 1861 in Walton County, Ga by W. H. Goodson. Children John A.H.: Louisa; Charlotte. John, Sr. served in the Conf. army- there is a little more history about him, if you are interested. This only fits if Mary Emily is Mary Emma? :)bj pg. 204 book11 #1861 Mary Emma's parents were Jacob and Frances L. (Baker) Shelnutt. Jacob was a farmer and a school teacher in Walton Co., Ga. |
