The following information comes from the family Bible of Nancy Elmira Thompson Sias, passed down to Kate Sias Coleman, my g-grandmother. Some family events after Kate's death were entered by her daughter. All names and dates are as entered in the Bible: Births page: Bessie E. Sias was born May 9th 1876. Katie Sias was born July 10th 1877. (These first two entries are in the same handwriting as the first entry on the Marriages page, possibly Nancy Thompson Sias. All of the other entries on the pages are in Kate Sias Coleman's hand except the death entries for Kate and her daughter Dorothy.) Evert Vernon Wilcox, born Sept. 27,1900; Dorothy Jean Coleman, born Aug. 3, 1905; Alice Norine Coleman, born Jan. 26, 1908; Lela Marguerite Coleman, born Jan. 22, 1911; Elber Jay Wilcox, born Oct. 9, 1920 (There are more births listed but they are still living and won't be posted)
Marriages page: John A. Sias was born March 14th 1849. Nancy E. Sias was born Jan 8th 1848. They were married July 5th 1875.; Bessie Elsie Sias, Edgar W. Wilcox, Married Dec. 21, 1899; Kate Sias, Albert L. Coleman, Married Oct. 12, 1904; Lela Marguerite Coleman, Lester Earl Howe, Married June 27, 1931; Dorothy Jean Coleman, Gerald George Giddings, Married June 9, 1937
Deaths page: Evert Vernon Wilcox, Nov. 25, 1901; John A. Sias, Sept.6, 1925; Nancy Elmira Sias, Sept. 5, 1934; Bessie Elsie Wilcox, April 18, 1946; Kate Coleman, May 17,1956; Dorothy Jean Giddings, May 29, 1971

I have a copy of the marriage certificate for John A. Sias and Nancy E. Thompson showing the marriage place as North Star, Gratiot Co. Michigan

If there is anyone out there with other primary source info on the Siases, please share it. If there is anyone collecting images of primary source material I can email scanned images of what I have. I am currently compiling a cd of pictures and documents pertaining to my family and would love to include any primary source info available. Thank you
