Ack. You posted this so long ago! And I don't know if I can help you working backwards, but if your Martha was born on April 18, 1844 (or thereabouts) we may well be relatives. And she was my great-great-grandmother. Are you by any chance the current owner of the photograph of Isabel Still Sim? There is one, but I have a very poor copy of it.
