There is a marriage connection between my family and the Needham Tayler family.
My great great grandfather, also named Henry Dison, of 237 Regent Street, London, Lace Maker (to Queen Victoria for instance) had a son named Frederick and a daughter named Julia.
Julia married Joseph Needham Tayler's son, Thomas, a mining geologist who spent a considerable part of his life in Greenland. Julia accompanied Thomas to Greenland on at least two occasions. These were hard and difficult times and Julia became the first white woman to spend a winter north of the arctic circle.
Julia and Thomas spent their latter days in Boston USA.
Frederick was my Great Grandfather.
My sister wrote her dissertation on this part of our family life, of which I have a copy.
