I will be happy to help you reconstruct your records. I have proven Ambrose Harrison Duncan for DAR and have completed the supplemental of his father-in-law, Jacob Slaughter. I believe that will be approved. I have a copy of an old photo of John R. Tingen and all of his children if you would like a copy. My direct ancestor is your ancestor's brother, Presly Yarborough Tingen. Their mother, Margaret Yarborough, was the daughter of James Madison Yarborough and Margaret Harris. Margaret Harris was the grand daughter of Samuel Harris who was a prominent early Baptist minister in Virginia. I also have a supplemental at DAR on Samuel Harris, but I am not as confident on the approval of that line. Do you have the Tingen family book published by someone in AZ? I sent the John R. Tingen family picture to the author of this book and they included it in the publication so you may have already seen the photo. I also included copies of John Tingen's Confederate discharge. His right arm was amputated after the Battle of Sharpsburg. Let me know what records you need reconstructed & I will try to help. Good Luck!
