My great grandfather was NOT named Wm. Pirtle Allen, he was named William "Bill" Addison Allen. As well; "Bill" named his son, my grandfather, William"Ad" Addison also. I believe they both descend from Adeson Allen who is listed in the 1860 census of Maury Co,TN., as having a son, Willie, age 6 months. Any help?? dcarter@vzinet.com
