The Family Messenger newspaper was published in 1843 in Winchester, Franklin Co., TN, by Powell & Dunnington. These men's first names are not printed on the newspaper. F. C. Dunnington, who is buried in Rose Hill Cem., Columbia, Maury Co. TN, was publisher of a Nashville newspaper as well as being a lawyer. Would like to learn if his obituary states whether he ever published a newspaper in Winchester, TN, and, if so, whether it gives the first name of Mr. Powell.
