Hi! From a few clues in the Barton Files from Pendleton CO Ky which many of you may be familiar with I discovered the clues that Adeline Traylor was related to Charlotte Adams who is the mother of Artemissia Adams who married Henry Cook in Pendleton CO KY and of Helen Eliza Adams (the name of her husband eludes me for the moment) also of Pendlton County. In the 1850 census I found Charlotte Adams living in Fleming Co KY with both Artimissia aged 5 and Helen aged 2 along with Margarett Adams who was listed as the head of the household. Margarett Admas was 62 and born in PA. So that is my first major breakthrough in finding the parents of Adeline Adams. If anybody else has worked on this and can help, I would welcome any additional information. pamela
*** Tillman Adams was given as the husband of Charlotte in the Barton files .. I am beginning to think he is a myth.
