Be careful with what is on ROOTSWEB.COM because if it is mine I got mine from the internet. It was posted with the entire Traylor family dating back. My family tree on rootsweb is under simpson23. I have cross checked a number of areas on the net and so far everything checks out so unless a heck of a lot of people has posted this same tree or using the same information from that bogus family tree then I don't know what to say.

To date I have found very few things that were wrong with what I find on the net. The greatest majority of people posting family trees are getting the information correctly. Living in Kentucky it is hard to verify things outside of this state. I have been to grave yards, libraries, and court houses in Kentucky trying to verify records. Just purchased a laptop that I can now take with me to gather more information. I use a digital camera when going to grave yards and have a massive amount of pictures. Not just of the Traylor family but of one of the other trees I am working on.

Let's hope the "false" tree only missed a few branches. I am inclined to believe most of it is true.
