Searching for information on several of the children Carroll C. Mayfield and Bertie Alma McClure. Bertie Alma McClure (21 July 1873-3 April 1965) married Carroll C. Mayfield (12 June 1874-7 August 1919) on 3 January 1894 in Erath County, Texas, and later settled in Tarrant County, Texas. The children of Carroll C. and Bertie Alma McClure Mayfield were: Jessie L. Mayfield (a daughter born October 1894); Emmett Carroll Mayfield (6 February 1898-8 August 1960…note: World War I Registration has 26 February 1897 as date of birth); Claude Othela Mayfield (16 July 1899-12 April 1981) married Nannay Janette Day (3 July 1909-31 January 1973); Theodore Wilkerson Mayfield (4 May 1902-24 December 1993) married Pearl Marvin Cavitt (22 January 1906-4 September 1977); Lura Irene Mayfield (10 October 1904-15 June 1973) married Newton D. Crow; Opal Mayfield (born ca. 1907); Earline Mayfield (born ca. 1909); Avo Mayfield (26 October 1911-29 December 1961) married Kermit F. Whalin (6 September 1905-5 May 1978); and J. B. Mayfield ( a son born ca. 1913). I am searching for information on Jessie L. Mayfield (a daugter born October 1894); Lura Irene Mayfield's husband, Newton D.
