I just noticed that residing with the 21 year old Luke Whitney in 1850 was a 46 year old Luke Whitney as well, most likely his father and perhaps the father of Horatio as well. This elder Luke may have been the Luke Whitney, born 22 Apr 1803, Harvard, MA, son of Josiah and Sally (Puffer) Whitney.
