Omro Weekly Journal May 17, 1877 p. 3 DIED April 23d, at the residence of Mrs. Potter, in this village, Mrs. Hannah Shears, aged 81 years, 8 months and 5 days. Mrs. Shears was born at Albany, N. Y. She came to this town about 21 years ago, and has resided here ever since. She has a twin sister now living in Pennsylvania, and also a sister in Walworth county, in this State. Seven of her children are now living, four sons and three daughters. Each of her sons resides in a different State, but her daughters all live in Wisconsin, two of them in this village and one at Waukau. Her work is done. She passed to peaceful slumber like a child. The while attendant angels built the dream On which she rode to heaven.
