Hi Jacqueline, You are welcome. Hope you are positive that it is the right person that I found. Reason that I hope I found the correct person is because I googled his name and this came up. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22lloyd+e+brune%22 Here are the sites that I found the information on. There was only one Lloyd E Brune listed on this site but there could have been others that have not been posted to that site. http://aad.archives.gov/aad/series-list.jsp?cat=WR26 And there was only one Lloyd E. Brune's found on this site with the year of birth of 1919. http://ssdi.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/ssdi.cgi Do you know his parent's names? I could try to find some information on Ancestry for you if you do. And do you know his middle name? Is it Edward? His home town in the 20's or 30's...or the county? Any other information might be helpful as well. I couldn't locate an association for the military police unit online. Maybe someone else has better search capabilities than I. Did you google the city and years where they were supposed to be to see if there is some history out there? It sounds like he was part of the occupation force as the war was over in Europe in that time frame....just barely though. Andi |
