Doug,I was wondering who the Samuel Chalker was in the census records.Samuel died in 1813.I assume it is his son, Samuel Everest Chalker.I understand the Sunset Cemetery where all the Chalkers are buried is on a part of the Chalker farm in Waltham.
There is a Mary L. Chalker, wife of Andrew b.? June ? and d. 22 Sep 1842 in her 80th year buried in the Sunset Cemtery. No further record of Andrew.Could Andrew also be a son of Gideon Chalker?I would like to know more about Gideon Chalker and his family.
Have you heard of Annie/Anna Chalker who married John Hatch c.1789?There must be some connection to her and Samuel Chalker - I just can't find it.Perhaps Chalker was a married name and she married John Hatch as a second husband. However, we don't have evidence that she had any children before she married John Hatch.
Bye the way, my e-mail address has changed to: [email protected] have a list of the Chalkers in the Chalker Cemetery at: http://www.users.uswest.net/~kaeh/Histories/addison.html#cemeteryhttp://www.users.uswest.net/~kaeh/Histories/addison.html#cemetery
