i have not been on for a long time and have just noted your last respose in 07.

I don't know of any local historiams any where in the UK. We are the only Chalinor branch, with our spelling in Australia. I find it very frustrating as I am told of places I could go and search and know of cemetaries that hold information for me and I am a world away.

You asked about William and Mary in another posting. My William was born 1889 and married Mary Percy 1842 - 1902. I have mMore details if they are of any use to use.
