I'm looking for info on ANY Chalouds in Nebraska (or elsewhere). My great-grandfather was Adolph Chaloud, who died of disease in a hospital in Lincoln, NE abt 1915-1920. His wife was Josephine Mayme Kloss, and he had two daughters, Gertrude and Julia. His parents drowned near Elba, NE in early 1890s. He was taken in by the Horkey family of Elba. He had two brothers, Frank and Joseph or Charles who became ranchers around Thedford NE. He had a baby sister who was adopted by a family enroute to California. If you have any info at all on the name CHALOUD, please contact me at Hoping to hear from you soon! Kristi
