Laura,
I have the same info. All I can tell you about Sarah Chamblee in this family is that you will see alot of "hunches" floating around, some that she is the sister of Robert, Isaac, George Chamblee of Bertie Co.
There is absolutely NO proof on this, ther emight have been if the courthouse had not burned twice in Hertford Co NC. Robert Chamblee's name appeared on the petition to form a new county (Hertford Co NC). Some later Chamblee relatives are picked up in a few records that are extant in Hertford, but mostly the fires took with them the clues to the Chamblees in this area.
There is no other way to solve the questions you have than to dig into the original records. For years people have been asking each other without really going to films and old records, so nothing gets solved, just speculation and misinformation everywhere.
I point you to obscure records in Bertie and the last dregs of any info that may have survived in Hertford. Perhaps you can unearth something new. I've tried, but more eyes would be nice.
