Samuel CHAUNCEY, son of Walley CHAUNCEY and Jemima BOUTWELL, had a daughter, Nancy S.B. CHAUNCEY, born abt. 1813, married Duran TUTEN. This family lived their entire lives in Beaufort Co., NC. My great grandmother was their daughter, Frances TUTEN, 1838 - 1876, married William Martin Jarvis. I have been seeking information concerning the descendants of Walley Chauncey. His ancestors are, of course, well documented. Does anyone know what the S.B. in Nancy S.B. Chauncey stands for, surely not Nancy Samuel Boutwell Chauncey?
