There were 15 children born to Mable and Russell. Several children died in infancy . The following information contains some birthdate corrections as well as death dates. This information is from the work of Stanley Dunn in , "Memorials of the Chaunceys, Including President Chauncy, His Ancestors, And Descendents, by Wm. Chauncey Flower, Jan., 1858 and republished with revisions by Stanley T. Dunn, 1981."

Mable Porter Chauncey was the daughter of John Porter and Mehitable Flower Porter. She was born and raised in Ashfield, Mass. Sources: 1.Ashfield Vital Records. Page: 86
In 1802 she and her new husband, Russell Chauncey moved to Columbia Co., NY. where they raised a family of 15 children. About 1808, her parents also moved to Columbia Co., NY.
The children of Russell and Mable Porter Chauncey were:
boy : born June 16, 1803, died infancy
John Andrew : born June 10, 1804, died 1832
Mable : born June 4, 1805, died 1856
Elizabeth: born Sept. 19, 1806, married
Levander: born Mar. 3, 1808, died infancy
Russell: born Oct. 2, 1809, died infancy
Russell Levander: born Nov.18,1810, died May7,1893
Flora Judith: born Dec. 18, 1811, died infancy
Sarah Angeline: born Mar. 14, 1813, died infancy
Alford Gaston: born June 17, 1815, married L. Elliot
William Ross : born Nov. 20, 1816, married
Austin: born Dec, 25, 1817
Sarah Angeline: born April 24, 1820, died 1921, married Hosea P. Scott, my gggrandparents.
Isreal: born April 27, 1821, died 1901
Edwin: born Jan. 16, 1823, died 1877
