Hi Cynthia,
I'm traveling at the moment and won't be home for 2 weeks--so a quick reply. Hukabone (or Hogaboom) was certainly in Stanley's branch of descendants for a generation or so. I think it started with Wesley Fernando Chauncey. I suspect there is a Huckabone marriage somewhere but as you point out, there's no independent evidence that a Miss Hukabone married Israel Chauncey. The western Massachusetts marriage record shows "Elizabeth Petty", and there's no other Israel Chauncey in the area to confuse the groom's identity. (There are two Isaac Chaunceys in the Massachusetts and Connecticutt area within 15 years of each other at this time--but they're clearly delineated.)
I might have names for Elizabth's parents--I'll look in my files when I get home.
Best wishes,
