Dear Cliff,
This is where I am on my Isaac maybe with your and Robert's help I can place him. Thank you both.

1. Centennial Biographical History of Ashland County, Oh 1901: Silas Chauncey Parker-his mother was Sarah, daughter of James Loudon Priest, Jr. and Polina Chauncey. Polina of Long Island, a first cousin of Captain Isaac Chauncey, (I found this to probably be a second cousin) chairman of the naval committee at Washington in 1885. They were descendants of Charles Chauncey, who was born in England in 1695 and was to become president of Harvard College. Polina died in 1859.

The Priest Family 1900: James Loudon Priest resided at Manliur, Onondaga Co., NY. He died age 84 in Loudonville, Ohio, a town founded by his son James Jr. James Jr. married Paulina Chauncey in Mass. and moved to Oneida Co., NY. From there the family moved to Crawford Co., Pa. On May 10, 1810 James entered 1000 acres of land in what is now Holmes and Ashland Counties. He died Aug 10, 1822 age 53. The couple had 9 sons and 5 daughters.

History of Ashland Co., Oh. 1880: James L. Priest from Crawford Co., Pa. settled as early as 1810 in what is now Wayne Co., Oh. His son James Jr. was born in Ma in 1769 and married Paulina Chancey; he moved from Oneida Co., Ny to Onondaga Co., NY then to Crawford Co., Pa. He came to Ohio with a large family and laid out the town of Loundonville.

Loundonville Cemetery: James L. Priest Jr. D. Aug 10, 1822 and Pauline Chancy wife of James Jr. D Oct 31, 1859 83y, 10m, 28d.

Not used as source but for information not proved by me. I do have marriage in 1790.
IGI Record: Pauline Chauncey married James Louden Priest 25 Nov 1790 Pa.
IGI Record: Paulina Chauncey born 2 Dec 1775 of Mass. Father Isaac Chauncey Mother Jerules Ward.

Vital Records of Ashfield, Ma. Isaac Chancy of Cornumcke and Jerusha Ward of Ashfield, married Nov. 8, 1770.

History of Deerfield, Ma 1896: Genealogies: Chauncey, Charles, son of Isaac of Hadley; born June 28, 1712. He married Jan. 29, 1740, Sarah Ingram; 2 Sept 18, 1746, Mary Gaylord; removed to Sunderland.
Child Isaac, June 4, 1745; for other children see Judd's History of Had.

Vital Records of Deerfield, Ma 1920, Births:
Chauncey, Isaac, son of Charles and Sarah, June 4, 1745.

History of Hadley by Judd:
Chauncy, Charles son of Rev. Isaac resided in Amherst, Sunderland. Married Sarah Ingram Jan 29, 1740. Children: Isaac, bapt. Aug 22, 1745. (This was 2 months after Issac's birth)

I found a listing that Charles Chauncey born 1712 died in 1785 in New Lebanon, Columbia, NY. Also his son Israel who died there.

I have been looking for records in NY, hoping Charles left a will maybe, but unable to get yet. I live in Ohio.

Thank you both for the info you sent. Please let me know if you find anything else.
