Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Dear Pam,
The fact that Ida had died agrees with the pension 1914 file, where only one daughter is listed as living.
I can't explain the Thomas/Simpson enigma. John signed his name in the file as "John T. Chancey" and listed his name as John Thomas Chancey. It's a puzzle. If you'd like a copy of the file, I'd be glad to mail one to you (no cost).
Cliff
