You have me beat as far as the date goes. I have "pretty good" documentation back to Elizabeth Cheaney who married Reuben Crutcher. Reuben Crutcher was born 1 May 1741. Elizabeth was the daughter of William Cheaney. The William Cheaneys and the Reuben Crutchers moved to Charlotte County, Virginia around 1790. However, I would like to hear from someone who knows more about the earlier Cheaneys - especially in Virginia. Ann Cheney
