Jack, There must be a lot of John London descendants and quite a few through his second marriage to Permelia Cheek and I'd be interested to hear from some of them. Part of the problem with Permelia's lineage is that it is difficult to find her geographic origin, her date of birth , the exact date of her marriage or date and place of death. She seems to be stuck out there in space. I did find a Pamelia listed in the Menifee Cheek Reed genealogy as the granddaughter of William Cheek born 1728 in London and the daughter of his son Henry who married Jean Hancock in Bedford Co., VA in 1797. This William's son John married Mary Elmore and his group has Orange Co.,NC connections. Perhaps a lot more informaion will show up in the future.Carmelita Kammann
