Hi Ron:

I am your mother's cousin, Ann's daughter. You and Gail were my first babysitting "victims". I was raised by Sarah and Katie.

We live in Arkansas now and we have visited the graves of Joseph and Mary Ann Rogers. Bessie Cheek Hovorka and her husband are buried beside them. Bessie was Sarah's sister.

We also have been to visit the Lenz house outside of Benton, Arkansas which was the first home that Huldreich had when he immigrated to America. It is still standing and in amazing condition considering the age. The Lenz's were cousins of Huldreich.

The last of the 7 Bohl children, Bessie, passed away on October 29, 2009. She was 91.

The Cheeks were nomadic and Jesse may have had more children out of wedlock that we knew about. They were of Cherokee heritage and one of Jesse's descendants has joined the Cherokee nation. Sarah was born in Alabama and in the 60's or 70's, I know she filed paperwork on being established as an American Indian.

Most of my genealogy stuff is in storage as we just moved back to Arkansas and are living in a duplex with not much room, but I will try to answer as many of your questions as possible.
