Well here we go again. My middle name is Cheney and has been for the past 71 years. I have always pronounced it chaney as had my Grandfather, frank Cheney and all of our family. I belive that the way that one pronounces one's own name is the correct way for that person's name to be pronounced. Anyway, Cheney is Chaney. So be it.
