Great information on the Chesley's. I am working on the Chesley's and would love to correspond. I'll be glad to give what info I have. One thing I'm wanting to know is if Lafayette had two marriages? I have him married to Caroline Macelles in Albany, N.Y. and having two children with her - Stephen and Elizabeth. I have him dieing in N.H., at age 73years. Then later I find Lafayette Chesley being married to Harriet E. Bigelow and they having 4 children. So I'm wondering how this connects. I'm also wanting to know who Lafayette's parents are? Looking forward to hearing from you.
