Hello,

I have been researching the family of my great-great grandmother, Jennie Louise Childs, and have just traced the family line back to an Aaron Childs and Susanna Gridley born approximately 1745-50 and married 9 Nov 1769 in Roxbury, MA. In looking for more information about this couple, I came across your posting.

Aaron and Susanna's connection to my family is the following: Aaron & Susanna's son, Aaron Childs, born 1770, and his wife, Mary (Polly), had a son William Childs who married Hannah Bradford Holmes. William and Hannah had a son Abner Curtis Childs who married Mary Louisa Eveleth. Their daughter, Jennie, is my great-great grandmother.

I would love to learn more about this family and whatever information may be contained in the Family Bible, whether it remains in your possession or has been passed along to another family researcher.

Thanks so much for your time. I look forward to hearing from you.

Lori Huebener Jones
Falmouth, MA
