Thank you so much for your information Lanny.I had seen the census info on Ancestry but didn't know if it was for James Locket.I have been told that my GG Grandmother Susan Alice Koon (Coon) was full blooded Cherokee but haven't found proof either. She married an Eastridge (Estes) and had my Great Grandmother Clara Vandora who married my Great Grandfather, John Oscar Childers.I saw a comment that someone made that stated he was related to Abbie Locket Childers (male) b. 1882 in Lousiana and could trace back to a Dr. Nicholas Childers b. 1776 in Virgina and believed that James Locket's father was either Dr. Nicholas' brother or somehow related because of the use of the Locket name for Abbie.I am going to continue researching and if I can find anything I will let you know.Thank you again for your help.Deanna
