Hi,
I am related to another Manerva J Childers who was born about 1840 in TN. She can be found in the 1850 census living with her mother Malinda in Rhea County, TN. The spelling of her name is found in documents ranging from Minerva, Manevera, sometimes called Manervy or Erva, Childers or Childress. But I do not think this is a coincidence that these two share the same name. I believe that somehow these two must share a common ancestor, since it was quite common in this time period to follow an English naming pattern or a variation of it. I would love to discuss how these two might connect. Myra
