I am looking for information on a marriage for Joseph Chinn and Elizabeth Mitchell-Smith-Bradford. I have a will written by Elizabeth Chinn who died 27 Aug 1849 in Georgetown, Scott Co., Kentucky. In her will, she mentions her six children: Grandison, Clayborn & Amanda Smith Shepard; Henry Bradford; and Elvira Chinn Gibney & Richard Chinn. Elizabeth Mitchell was married 1st to Clifton Rodes Smith in Fayette Co., KY in 1808. After he died in 1815 in Scott Co., KY, she married a Bradford (I don't know his name). After he died sometime around 1820, she married Joseph Chinn. In Joseph Chinn's will, he mentions his two youngest children: Elvira and Richard Chinn. Joseph doesn't mention a wife by name in his will. When Joseph Chinn's daughter, Margaret, died there is a Betsy Chinn who is a witness to her will. Could this be Elizabeth? Does anyone have a marriage date for Joseph Chinn to Elizabeth (probably Bradford). I would appreciate any information. I am also trying to find the Bradford that Elizabeth married (probably in Scott Co).
