The George Chinn found in the 1800 peniteniary census was not George Kerfoot Chinn. George Kerfoot Chinn came to Texas in 1870. He enlisted in the Texas Rangers in 1878 and owned a sheep ranch and farm in Knippa Texas, He married Ella Nunn in 1882 produced 5 children.
