Martin Cheins to Wesmoreland VA 1654

Hello all of you Chinn reseachers. Does anyone know if this Martin Cheins who appears on a transport list With Major Miles Carey to Westmoreland, Co Va in 1654. (Nell Nugent's 'Pioneers and Cavaliers' Vol One.) is the emigrant of later Chinn families? And or were there two or more Chimm/Chynn emigrants?

I ask this because I am seeking to learn more about my own Wilburn/Welborn ancestors. Samuel Wilbourn was one of those servants with Major Carey. Later in Susssex Co VA a number of records show kinships between Wilburn and Chynn or Chinn families, c 1750 and later still.

Any information would be neat to learn. Thanks for your time.

Vikky Wilburn Anders in San Diego
