Michael was the son of Benjamin Chinnis,and had three sons, Michael, Daniel, and Benjamin. In the 1820 census Benjamins last name was spelt Chinners. In the 1790 census it was spelt Chiners.He had land next to an Isaac Skipper and Joseph Waters.
