Yes I know of Julia Chinnis. Her mother, Florah mentions her in a letter to her son, Hamilton. She was 6 months old in the 1850 census.
1850 census
Benjamin Chinnis 52 M Farmer
Florah 33
Hamilton 13
Mary 12
John 8
Daniel 3
Julia 6/12

brothers of Benjamin were

Michael 51 M Farmer
Rebecca 37 F
Mary 16 F
Michael 6
Robert 1
Warren 3/12

other bro.

Daniel Chinnis 40 M Farmer
Anna 50
Susan 42
William 15

These three sons were the sons of Benjamin Chinnis who is in the 1800 census. His wife is unknown. His son Benjamin married Florah Matthews the daughter of Hugh Matthews. It was thought that she was a Hamilton but Florah is mentioned as the daughter of Hugh Matthews in his will. Maybe her mother was a Hamilton. Julia's brothers Hamilton and John settled in South Carolina. In Colleton which later became part of Charleston County. My mother descended from Hamilton James Chinnis. I've always wondered who Julia married and now I know!
