I think you have an ELLIS CHORLTON on your tree.

Whereabouts are you located ? I suspect you are not in the UK . I ask because my CHORLTONS gave the place CHORLTON the name . My Chorlton family stayed in this immediate vicinity . Stockport is not a very long way from Chorlton but as far as I know they didn't move .

I now have another ELLIS CHORLTON 1813-1875 Wheelwright.on the tree which maybe you can identify with. He married Frances Langford.and they lived in Fallowfield Manchester[ next to Chorlton].
