Dear Sheila, We have a common ancestor in Ellis Chorlton b1633. My line comes down through John b1678, John b1709, John b1759, Isaac b1786, John b1814, Percy b1862 (who still lived in Old Hall Farm, Withington) .... I would be interested to know where our lines seperate - we may be able to fill in some gaps for each other. (I think I have Ellis's b1633 parents, grandparents and great-grandfather.) Please get in touch.
