Hello, I am looking for the wife of Clifton M. Hoff son of Lamar and Melissa E Crislip Hoff of Barbour Co.
Clifton born approx 1858-61 died 1/20/1920. His wife possibly Sarah? who died approx. 1885, when my grgrandmother, Zetella was about 5. Her sister, Loleta, married a famous dancer, ? Fawcett. Loleta's daughters was Caroline and Virginia. Loleta died of TB.
Other children may have been sent to orphan homes.
Zetella(Stella or Cinderella)may have had a brother or uncle named Edmond who was a RR conductor in Grafton, Taylor Co. where Clifton also lived. When Clifton's first wife died we know Clifton remarried as Zetella mentioned stepbrothers and stepsisters: Della & Ethel.
