I have a g-g...aunt ELISABETH MADELEINE CHRIST, called HELENE, born 20th Nov 1820, died 22th Feb 1904. She was the second wife of FREDERICK HENRI (FRITZ) LEISLER ( 1804-1875) in Hanau near Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Other branches of the Leisler family lived in Wiesbaden. - She had a sister who married Hallenhof?? in Switzerland. May be the girls were from the famous family Christ in Frankfurt (jewelry). The firm still exitsts today. The founder of the firm was Wilhelm Alexander Christ (1863) who probably came from Switzeland. I have connections to a Christ researcher in Switzeland, but we could not find the relation to his branches til now.
