Christ soldiers from New Jersey in Civil War:

Frederick Christ, 8th Regement, Company C, Private

John P. Christ or (Crist) 9th Reg. Co. I. Private

Lewis Christ, 7th Reg. Co. G. Private

Louis Christ 5th Reg. Company not listed, Private.

Samuel Christ, 34th Inf. Reg. co. G, Private, mustered in 9/23/1863.

William Christ, 34th Reg. Co. D, Private, mustered in Oct. 6, 1863; mustered out 4/10/1866. Discharged @ Trenton, NJ 4/30/1866.

Both Samuel and William were in on the Assult and capture of Fort Blakely April 9;
Siege of Spanish Fort March 26-April 8.
Occupation of Mobile, AL April 12.
From my research the experts tell me that Samuel Christ is part of our family line.
Can someone prove this?
