Hi Carol:

We have corresponded before and you are my friend in Facebook.
Have you seen the movie Seabiscuit? It is about a race horse who won the triple crown. There is a George who is a jockey and rode Seabiscuit in one or two races. This same George looks to me to be a Christ family member even if he does not have the Christ last name. (adopted?) Some of the Christ's were very short. The ones in my family were tall,
5'9 to 6'0. I said once before that we have a George Christ in our family and I think that he came to America with my great grandfather John Christ. One of John's sons, Herbert George Christ, (my grandfather's brother) worked at The Atlantic City racetrack in NJ. So I think this could be a viable link. My dad always liked to go to the horse races.
How exciting. If so, George (the jockey) was loved by many beautiful women even if he was short he was very handsome.
My Christ Y DNA Haplogroup is "I1". My first cousin's autosomal dna matches with The Earls of Konigsfeld in lower Bavaria.

Can you get your Christ males tested or at least get your autosomal dna tested as this can be used to detect male lines?!!!
Hope to hear from you soon,
Remember, I am on Facebook.
Linda
