Joyce, Thanks for your reply. I am looking for information on Michael Christ and family. He too was from Alsace. He is listed in the book of St. Mary's Westphalia. Michael is listed as arriving in Westphalia in the 1850's. He is also listed as first settling in Freedom Township. I am not sure where Greendale is located. He was born around 1808. Married Elizabeth ?. They were German Catholic. Could there be a connection? Could Donus and Michael be brothers?
