My father's last name is Chrzanowski. When he married, he change it to a shorter version, along with his twin brother. However, my grandparents did not.
My paternal great grandparents; Julian Chrzanowski & Katherine (maiden name: Grocholski(sp)) married in PA, after immigrating from Poland. My 92 year old grandmother (maiden name: Kopacki(sp)) now resides in Michigan. I have lived my entire life in Michigan. My grandfather's name was Walter Chrzanowski; b.Jul 11, 1904 d.Aug, 1971. He was born in Wilke Barre (sp), PA & had four sisters. He married Felicia Kopacki(sp) on June 30, 1928 in Hamtramck, MI. They lived many years in Hamtramck, but I only knew them to live in Macomb county, MI. I was born in 1964.
