I. Munroe and Charles St. J. Chubb Partners 1850's

I am a document trader & collector and currently own a group of original documents related to 2 Chubb's - I. Munroe and Charles St. J. who were in business in Washington, D.C. in 1852 with a partner named Francis B. Schenck. The documents that I have are from a pension attorney's files who worked in Lancaster, Pennsylvania around 1845-1850. The Chubbs interacted with the attorney to buy land warrants from soldiers who had been awarded them from the government for their service to the country.

I am interested in corresponding with family members who are equally interested in these documents. I would like to know more about these Chubbs and am glad to provide as much information as I know about the items that I have. Please e-mail me directly at
